Affirmative Action in America September 27, 2013 The Obama administration stands behind the use of Affirmative Action in admissions. Where does the Obama administration stand on Affirmative Action in America, you ask? The Obama administration has affirmed that it supports the use of race in college admissions with the goal of increasing the diversity of college campuses across America. In fact, the Department of Education and the Department of Justice sent a letter that went out to all university presidents and in this letter, the administration reaffirmed that race could indeed still be a factor in college admissions decisions provided that it is necessary in order to increase the diversity of these universities. According to an article in The LA Times on Affirmative Action in admissions, The Departments of Education and Justice strongly support diversity in higher education. Racially diverse educational environments help to prepare students to succeed in our increasingly diverse nation. The future workforce of America must be able to transcend the boundaries of race, language and culture as our economy becomes more globally interconnected, the letter sent to educators says. After you are done with this step, you can determine how many paragraphs your conclusion needs to be. You can keep the total number of paragraphs in the same throughout the course of the essay, but it is important to keep it consistent throughout.Next, you should list the number of each paragraph that you have written. This will help you keep track of the overall writing process and ensure that you never completely forget to do any writing.Finally, you should summarize your conclusion and then summarize your main points in one paragraph.
